Frank Cusano is a 6'2", 222-pound weakside linebacker from Granite Bay, California, who transferred to Wake Forest after one season at Washington State. As a freshman with the Cougars in 2024, he appeared in five games and recorded three solo tackles with one tackle-for-loss, including two solo tackles and a tackle-for-loss in his collegiate debut against Portland State. In 2025, his redshirt freshman year, Cusano appeared in 12 games for the Demon Deacons and registered 45 total tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, 0.5 sacks, and one pass breakup. He recorded six tackles and 0.5 sacks in the win over Western Carolina.
