Eli Potts is a wide receiver from Brock, Texas, standing 5'10" and weighing 190 pounds. At Brock High School, he lettered three years and started two seasons on offense, defense, and special teams before switching from running back to receiver as a junior. His senior season produced 88 receptions for 1,249 yards and 23 touchdowns, helping lead the team to a 15-1 record and state runner-up finish. He accumulated 130 career tackles, 18 pass breakups, and six interceptions while earning all-state and all-region honors. At Wake Forest, Potts redshirted in 2022 and did not play in 2023. He appeared in nine games in 2024 and recorded one unassisted tackle at North Texas. During the 2025 season, he appeared in all 12 games at wide receiver and special teams, totaling four tackles with a 32-yard kick return against Army on November 22.
