Kam Shanks is a wide receiver and return specialist from Prattville, Alabama, who joined Wake Forest in 2025 as a transfer from Arkansas. At UAB in 2024, Shanks led the nation in punt return yards with 329, averaging 20.6 per return with two touchdowns, and added 62 receptions for 656 yards and six touchdowns. He was named a finalist for the Jet Award and earned All-American Athletic Conference first-team honors as a return specialist. In his final season at Arkansas, Shanks appeared in 12 games, recording nine receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown while returning 17 punts for 107 yards.
