Makilan Thomas is a 6'3", 317-pound right guard from Little Rock, Arkansas who attended Central High School. He played collegiately at Arkansas State, where he appeared in the final four games as a redshirt in 2021 before starting all 12 games in 2022, primarily at left tackle. In 2023, Thomas started all 13 games and ranked third in the Sun Belt with a pass blocking rating of 81.2, allowing only one sack across 836 snaps. During the 2024 season, he started all nine games he appeared in at right tackle with 650 total snaps, posting a pass blocking grade of 76.6 and allowing three sacks. Thomas signed with Virginia in spring 2025 and was named to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1,000 preseason watchlist.
