Dane Steele is a right guard for the Virginia Cavaliers standing 6'4" and weighing 312 pounds. The Charlotte, NC native attended Covenant Day School, where he earned First Team NCISAA all-conference honors in 2021-22 and First Team NCISAA all-state recognition in 2022. He was named offensive MVP as a senior and served as team captain. Steele made his collegiate debut in 2024, appearing in one game against Coastal Carolina on September 21. A returning redshirt junior, he is pursuing a degree in media studies.
