Jam Jackson is a 6'2", 184-pound left cornerback from Plant City, Florida who transferred to Virginia from Robert Morris. At Robert Morris in 2023, Jackson earned Third Team FCS Freshman All-American honors and Big South-OVC Co-Defensive Freshman of the Year, recording 40 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups, and forcing a fumble. In his first season at Virginia in 2024, Jackson started all 12 games and was named the team's Defensive Rookie of the Year. He posted 58 tackles and six pass breakups while averaging 4.8 tackles per game, third on the team. Jackson also recorded a half-sack against No. 23 Pittsburgh on 11/9. A spring injury sidelined him for the entire 2025 season.
