Corey Costner is a 6'1", 213-pound sophomore spur from Baltimore, Maryland who enrolled at Virginia in January 2025. At Perry Hall, he recorded 120 receptions for 2,208 yards and 25 receiving touchdowns across three seasons while also tallying 11 career interceptions on defense. In his UVA debut against Coastal Carolina on 8/30, Costner had three tackles and a pass breakup. He intercepted a pass on the final play of the third quarter in Virginia's 31-21 win at Cal on 11/1, then recorded a season-high five tackles and his second career interception in the ACC Championship game against Duke on 12/6. Through 2025, he has posted 27 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, three pass deflections, and two interceptions for 7 yards.
