Ben York is a left tackle for the Virginia Cavaliers who hails from Burke, Virginia, where he played for Lake Braddock under coach Mike Dougherty. A three-star prospect according to recruiting services, York earned first-team all-district, all-region, and all-metro honors as a senior. He was named second-team all-state by VHSL in 2023. During his prep career, Lake Braddock compiled records of 9-3 in 2021, 9-3 in 2022, and 11-3 in 2024, reaching the Class 6A state semifinals in 2023. As a true freshman in 2024, York appeared in three games, making his collegiate debut against Coastal Carolina on September 21 and playing in the final two contests against SMU and Virginia Tech. He is pursuing a degree in economics.
