Marlen Bright is a true freshman offensive lineman for Virginia Tech, standing 6'6" and weighing 310 pounds. The Wayne, New Jersey native played four seasons of varsity football at DePaul Catholic High School, serving as a four-year starter at left tackle and earning senior captain status. During his 2025 senior season, he blocked for 2,190 team rushing yards and protected for nearly 5,500 yards of total offense as a junior in 2024. A three-time state champion, Bright earned three-time All-New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association First Team honors and was selected to the 2024 NJ.com All-State Third Team offense. He ranks as the No. 2 overall offensive lineman from New Jersey according to recruiting services.
