Thomas Jones is a safety from Smyrna, Tennessee, who stands 5'11" and weighs 195 pounds. A three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, Jones lettered four years in football at Smyrna High School, where he compiled 145 tackles with seven interceptions and two sacks. He earned All-Region 6-6A honors in 2021 and 2022, was named Region 5-6A Co-MVP as a senior, and served as team captain in 2023.
