Jesse Perez is a placekicker for the UTSA Roadrunners. The San Antonio native attended Sotomayor High School, where he earned all-district honors and made 9 of 10 field goals with a 49-yard long as a senior. As a punter, he averaged 41.7 yards per attempt with a 66-yard long in 2024, placing eight punts inside the 20-yard line. He recorded 33 touchbacks on 53 kickoffs his final season and helped the Wildcats reach the Class 6A playoffs. Perez also competed in soccer as a goalkeeper and was a first-team all-district selection at that position. He did not appear in games during the 2025 season.
