Jakevian Rodgers is a 6'1", 165-pound left cornerback for UTSA, wearing No. 27. The Daingerfield, Texas native arrived as a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. During his true freshman season in 2023, he appeared in two games. In 2024, Rodgers played in 12 contests primarily on special teams, recording one tackle and his first career interception in the bowl victory over Coastal Carolina. The 2025 season saw him play all 13 games with two starts at cornerback, posting 23 total tackles, 15 solo stops, two tackles for loss, and four pass breakups. He forced a fumble in the First Responder Bowl win against FIU and recorded a season-high five tackles against Colorado State.
