Ben Rios, a 6'6" center from San Antonio, Texas, played his high school football at Central Catholic HS before joining UTSA. A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, Rios appeared in three games during his freshman year against Texas Southern, FIU, and Rice. After missing 2023 due to injury, he emerged in 2024 as the starting left guard, playing all 13 games with seven starts and logging 587 snaps while allowing no sacks and three hits on the quarterback in pass-blocking situations. In 2025, Rios started 12 games at center, recording 786 snaps with five total penalties and surrendering only one sack and three hits in 456 pass-blocking snaps according to Pro Football Focus. He did not allow a sack or hit on the QB in the team's final five games. Rios earned 2024-25 American Conference All-Academic Team honors.
