Vashon Brunswick II is a sophomore linebacker for UTEP who appeared in seven games during his true freshman season in 2025. He recorded eight total tackles (seven solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack for six yards. His best performance came at Sam Houston with five tackles and a sack. Before joining the Miners, Brunswick played at Sachse High School in Garland, Texas, where he accumulated 157 total tackles across two varsity seasons. In his senior year, he posted 82 tackles with 11.0 tackles for loss, one sack, seven hurries, and a fumble recovery.
