Oryend Fisher is a 6'6" defensive lineman from Georgetown, Kentucky, who attended Great Crossing High School. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Fisher spent two seasons at West Virginia before transferring to UTEP. He appeared in a game against Duquesne as a true freshman in 2023 but saw no action in 2024. At the high school level, Fisher earned 2022 All-State 5A first-team honors and Kentucky Sports Radio All-State selections in both 2021 and 2022, recording 161 tackles and 25 sacks between his junior and senior seasons. In 2025, his first year with the Miners, Fisher appeared in 11 games and contributed on special teams.
