Jimmy Leon is a defensive lineman from Tucson, Arizona who attends UTEP. The redshirt freshman played at Mica Mountain High School, where he earned first-team All-State honors as both a junior and senior. As a senior, he compiled 64 tackles and 16 sacks for 113 yards while also catching 14 passes for 463 yards and 14 touchdowns on offense. In the state championship game against Arizona College Prep, Leon made five tackles, recorded a pass breakup, and caught five passes for 70 yards in a 42-13 victory. During his prep career, he posted 55.5 tackles for loss, including 38 on sacks. Leon saw action at Delaware in 2025 before joining UTEP's roster.
