Paul Fitzgerald is a 6'4", 256-pound left defensive end from Idaho Falls, ID, who transferred to Utah from Utah State. A three-star recruit from Thunder Ridge HS rated as the fourth-best prospect in Idaho, Fitzgerald appeared in 15 games with 13 starts at Utah State from 2022-23, compiling 46 tackles, 9.0 TFL, and 8.0 sacks. He recorded 3.0 sacks against Georgia State in the Idaho Potato Bowl, tying the school record for a bowl game. In 2024, Fitzgerald played in nine games for the Utes across defense and special teams, recording four tackles.
