Lance Holtzclaw is a 6'3", 245-pound defensive end from Boston, MA who transferred to Utah after three seasons at Washington. At Desert Ridge High School in Arizona, he earned All-Conference and All-State honors, recording 48 total tackles and 10 sacks as a senior in 2021. During his time with the Huskies from 2022–24, he appeared in 26 games and recorded 13 total tackles, two sacks, and a fumble recovery, including his first career sack in the 2023 win over Washington State. In 2025, Holtzclaw played in all 13 games with one start in the Las Vegas Bowl, totaling 26 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and three pass breakups. He was named to the Leadership Council in 2026.
