James Chenault is a right cornerback from Orlando, FL who attended Jones HS. A three-star recruit, he began his college career at South Florida in 2024, appearing in all 13 games as a freshman with 12 tackles, 1 interception and 2 passes defended. In the 2025 season, Chenault played in 9 games for the Bulls, recording 32 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 2 interceptions and 4 passes defended, including a nine-tackle performance against Florida Atlantic. He intercepted passes against No. 5 Miami and Florida. Chenault transferred to Utah as a junior.
