Elijah Reed is a 6'3", 200-pound right cornerback from Louisville, Kentucky, who attended Pleasure Ridge Park HS. He began his collegiate career at Kentucky, redshirting in 2022 before appearing in all 12 games on special teams in 2023 and recording his first career tackle against Louisville. Reed transferred to Akron, where he appeared in nine games with six starts in 2024, tallying 32 tackles, 1.5 TFL, one interception, and four passes defended. During the 2025 season, he started all 12 games for the Zips, accumulating 47 tackles, 2.0 TFL, one sack, one forced fumble, two interceptions, and four passes defended. He now joins Utah as a transfer.
