Originally committed as a running back, Andrews appeared in four games during his 2024 freshman season, recording two carries for 17 yards against SUU. In 2025, he played in the first four games before injury, making his initial start against Cal Poly. That game saw him rush five times for 21 yards and catch three passes for 12 yards. Against Wyoming, Andrews scored his first collegiate touchdown on the ground while posting career highs of six rushes for 62 yards and five receptions for 44 yards.
