Elijah Elliss is a 6'2", 225-pound redshirt sophomore defensive end from Farmington, UT, who attended Layton Christian HS. At Layton Christian, he recorded 102 total tackles in 2023, including 3.0 sacks and an interception, with seven double-digit tackle games and a career-high 14 tackles against Beaver. He was named first-team All-State his senior year. In 2024, Elliss appeared in four games for Utah on special teams. During the 2025 season, he played in all 13 games on defense and special teams, totaling 18 tackles with 3.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. He recorded a career-best five tackles against Colorado and three tackles in the Las Vegas Bowl victory over Nebraska.
