Sam Huard is a redshirt senior quarterback who transferred to USC in spring 2025 from Utah. The Bellevue, Washington native began his college career at Washington as a freshman in 2021, appearing in four games with one start in the Apple Cup versus Washington State. He then played at Cal Poly in 2023, completing 184 of 303 passes for 2,247 yards with 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. After a redshirt year at Utah in 2024, Huard joined the Trojans and appeared in two games in 2025, completing 1 of 1 pass for 10 yards, including a critical first-down conversion on a fake punt against Northwestern.
