Jayden Maiava, a 6'4" quarterback from Las Vegas, Nevada, began his college career at UNLV in 2023, where he completed 224-of-353 passes for 3,085 yards and 17 touchdowns while leading the Rebels to 11 wins and the Mountain West Championship game. He earned 2023 Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors. After transferring to USC, Maiava appeared in 7 games in 2024 with 4 starts before taking over the starting role full-time in 2025. In his first full season as a Trojan starter, he completed 265-of-403 passes for 3,711 yards and 24 touchdowns with 10 interceptions while rushing for 157 yards on 54 carries with 6 touchdowns across all 13 games. Maiava led the nation with a 91.2 QBR and was named All-Big Ten Third Team. He returns as USC's starter for 2026 as a redshirt senior.
