Ty Dieffenbach is a quarterback from Calabasas, California, who attended Agoura High School. At Agoura, he threw for 4,153 yards and 48 touchdowns over three varsity seasons, including 2,669 yards and 34 touchdowns as a junior. Dieffenbach spent two seasons at Pitt (2023-24) without appearing in games, utilizing a redshirt year. He transferred to Cal Poly for the 2025 season, where he started nine games and completed 92 of 162 passes for 1,305 yards and nine touchdowns, adding 321 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 67 carries. In his collegiate debut against San Diego on August 30, he completed 18 passes for 263 yards and accounted for three touchdowns. Dieffenbach is a returning member of the UCLA Bruins roster.
