Colton Gumino is a redshirt freshman quarterback for the UCLA Bruins who stands 6'0" and weighs 196 pounds. A native of Arlington Heights, Illinois, Gumino prepped at John Hershey High School, where he left as the program's all-time leader with 5,228 passing yards. During his final high school season, he completed 118-of-177 passes for 2,265 yards with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions, while also rushing 77 times for 668 yards and 13 touchdowns. Gumino earned three-star recruit status and was named Illinois High School Football Coaches Association 7A All-State in 2024. In his 2025 true freshman season at UCLA, he did not see game action and served on the scout team quarterback unit.
