Derek Osman is a right guard who transferred to UCLA after completing his undergraduate degree at Harvard. The 6'3", 315-pound lineman from Mercer Island, Washington appeared in 31 games during three seasons with the Crimson, starting 21. In 2022, his true freshman year, he did not play. He then started all 10 games in 2023 as Harvard went 8-2, earned CSC Academic All-District honors in 2024 after starting all 10 games on an 8-2 team, and started all 11 games in 2025 as Harvard finished 9-2 and reached the FCS Playoffs. He was named All-Ivy League Fourth Team in 2025 and received honorable mention honors that same year. Osman holds an economics degree with a government secondary from Harvard and plans to enroll in UCLA's Pre-MBA Studies Certificate Program.
