Carter Sweazie is a 6'1", 342-pound right guard who transferred to UCLA from James Madison. A three-year letterwinner with the Dukes (2022–25), Sweazie redshirted his true freshman year in 2022 before appearing in 34 games with 23 starts, all at left guard. In 2025, he started all 14 games at left guard and earned All-Sun Belt Conference Third Team honors. That season, he was part of an offensive line that helped James Madison rank 11th in FBS scoring (37.1 points per game) and 17th in total yards per game (452.6). He also played alongside Sun Belt Player of the Year quarterback Alonza Barnett III and running back Wayne Knight, a Paul Hornung Award finalist.
