Josh Derry is a 5'9", 182-pound wide receiver from Baltimore, MD who transferred to UCF after three seasons at Monmouth. At Concordia Prep, he earned MIAA All-Conference honors as a junior and senior, finishing his final year with 41 receptions, 807 yards, and 11 touchdowns. As a true freshman at Monmouth in 2023, he appeared in eight games. In 2024, he started five games and recorded 60 receptions for 917 yards and five touchdowns across 10 contests, ranking fifth in the CAA in receiving yards. During his 2025 junior season, Derry led Monmouth with 76 receptions for 1,123 yards and 13 touchdowns in all 12 games, earning FCS All-America First Team honors from the Associated Press, Phil Steele, Sports Illustrated, and the Walter Camp Foundation.
