Jayden Burnett is a 6'2", 210-pound true freshman defensive back at UCF from Sarasota, Florida. Burnett began his high school career at Bradenton Christian as a two-sport athlete in football and basketball before transferring to Cardinal Mooney for his junior season. In his 2025 senior campaign, he recorded 113 tackles, including 70 solo tackles, and 21 tackles for loss. He also added four interceptions, three fumble recoveries, three blocked punts, and three field goals, returning two interceptions and one fumble recovery for touchdowns. Burnett helped Cardinal Mooney win the FHSAA District 2A state championship with a 14-1 record, capped by a 52-28 victory over Bolles in the title game.
