Dylan Bennett is a true freshman linebacker for UCF from West Palm Beach, Florida. He attended American Heritage High School, where he played linebacker and running back. As a senior in 2025, Bennett recorded 69 tackles, including 28 solo and 21 for loss, along with seven sacks and a fumble recovery. On offense, he carried the ball 50 times for 192 yards and three touchdowns. Over his final two high school seasons across 27 games, Bennett compiled 190 tackles, 43 for loss, and 16 sacks. He helped American Heritage win the 4A FHSAA state title in 2025 after the team went 9-5 with five consecutive victories to clinch the championship.
