Kaleb Brown, a wide receiver from Chicago's St. Rita High School, began his college career at Ohio State in 2022 before spending time at Iowa. Brown appeared in 11 games in 2023, recording 22 catches for 215 yards, including a career-high 71 yards against Illinois. He saw action in three games for Iowa in 2024. Brown transferred to UAB for the 2025 season, appearing in 9 games with three starts. He recorded 17 receptions for 255 yards and two touchdowns, including four catches and a touchdown each against No. 15 Tennessee and UConn, with a season-best 79 yards at Tennessee.
