J'Quan Mason is a 6'4", 240-pound right defensive end from McCalla, Alabama, who attended McAdory High School. Mason redshirted during his freshman year in 2024 after appearing in four games. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, he played in nine contests and recorded nine total tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and 1.0 sacks. Mason remains on the UAB roster.
