Chris Burge is a left defensive end for UAB standing 6'3" and weighing 250 pounds. A native of Leeds, Alabama, Burge was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He appeared in one game during his 2024 campaign against Tulsa, recording one tackle. In 2025, Burge took on a more significant role, appearing in all 12 games and accumulating 32 total tackles, 7 quarterback hurries, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. He registered four or more tackles in four separate contests, including a career-high seven tackles against Akron on September 13 and 2.5 tackles for loss at Tulsa on November 29. Burge is a returning redshirt sophomore for the Blazers.
