CJ Smith is a 6'3" wide receiver from Apopka, Florida, who was a four-star prospect ranked as the #16 wide receiver nationally by national outlets in the 2022 class. He began his college career at Georgia in 2022, appearing in games against Samford and Auburn. In 2023, Smith played in 9 games for the Bulldogs, recording six receptions for 116 yards and one four-yard rush, including two catches for 57 yards in the season opener against UT Martin. He transferred to Purdue for the 2024 season, starting in all 3 appearances while collecting six receptions for 69 yards, with a season-long 32-yard reception against Northwestern on November 2.
