David Wells Jr. is a 6'2" wide receiver from Lakewood, Washington who attended Lake High School. He played three seasons at Oregon State, appearing in 22 games with 12 starts before transferring to Tulsa. During his time with the Beavers, Wells recorded 51 receptions for 551 yards and six touchdowns. In his 2025 season at Tulsa, he appeared in and started 11 games, catching 44 passes for 466 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing four times for 37 yards and one touchdown.
