Baylor Hayes is a quarterback for Tulsa who transferred from East Tennessee State after his freshman year. At Brentwood High School in Tennessee, he was named 6-6A Player of the Year and led his team to a region championship. Hayes appeared in two games at ETSU in 2024, completing 18 of 30 passes for 181 yards. In his 2025 debut for Tulsa on September 6 against New Mexico State, he appeared in 10 games with nine starts. He completed 186 of 316 passes for 2,159 yards and 12 touchdowns while rushing 95 times for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns.
