Makai Williams is a 6'1", 231-pound middle linebacker for Tulane from Cibolo, TX. He was the all-time leading tackler at Cibolo Steele HS, where he earned first-team all-state honors and a spot on the All-American National Combine Team. As a junior in high school, Williams recorded 148 tackles with seven tackles for loss and three forced fumbles. He played in nine games during his 2023 freshman season and registered a tackle. In 2024, he appeared in all 14 games with seven tackles and a pass breakup. Williams currently records 25 total tackles, 11 solo tackles, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, and one sack in 2025.
