Dalton Hughes is a 6'3", 218-pound weak-side linebacker from Tupelo, Mississippi, who transferred to Tulane after four seasons at South Alabama. A three-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, Hughes appeared in all 12 games for the Jaguars in 2025, making four starts while recording 40 tackles and a tackle for loss. He also recovered a fumble against North Texas and posted a season-high 10 tackles in his final game at Texas State. Injuries limited him to three games in 2024, though he accumulated 14 tackles with multiple sacks in consecutive wins over Troy and ULM.
