Jalen Ballard is a kicker from Brandon, Mississippi, who attended Brandon High School. He began his college career at Holmes Community College in 2023, where he made 10 of 14 field goal attempts with a long of 47 yards and converted all 39 extra points, earning first-team All-MACCC honors as a redshirt freshman. Ballard transferred to Jackson State in 2024 and appeared in five games, handling kickoff duties and recording nine touchbacks on 32 attempts. He spent 2025 at Ole Miss without seeing game action.
