AC Darreon Walters is a 5'10", 199-pound running back from Montgomery, Alabama, who attended Alabama Christian Academy. As a senior, he rushed for 601 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 1,023 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions. He also completed 14-of-23 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns and returned 333 kickoff yards. A consensus three-star recruit ranked No. 1759 nationally, Walters redshirted during the 2025 season and earned scout team special teams player of the week honors for Troy's game against South Alabama.
