Jaheim Merriweather is a running back from Jackson, Tennessee, who attended Bearden High School as a three-star recruit ranked No. 10 in Tennessee by national outlets. He played two seasons at Purdue before transferring to Troy, where he currently holds the No. 3 jersey as a junior. During his 2024 freshman year, Merriweather appeared in 11 games, recording 15 rushes for 77 yards and three receptions for 21 yards. He scored his first career rushing touchdown against Indiana State and posted a career-long 35-yard run at Wisconsin. In 2025, he played in five games, including two carries for four yards versus USC, and logged 21 special teams snaps primarily on kickoff coverage.
