Nathaniel Chandler is a 6'4", 269-pound linebacker/defensive tackle from Smyrna, Delaware, who transferred to Toledo from Sacred Heart. At Sacred Heart in 2024, he appeared in nine games and recorded 36 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. In his high school career at Smyrna, Chandler made 90 tackles, 36 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks as a senior while earning first-team all-state and all-conference honors. He was part of the 2022 state championship team and competed in four sports. As a redshirt senior in 2025, Chandler played in five games for the Rockets, registering three total tackles.
