Laith Shamma is a 6'6", 280-pound defensive tackle for the Toledo Rockets, wearing number 91. A finance major from Ann Arbor, Michigan, he attended Huron High School, where he earned three-star recruit status and was named to the all-area Dream Team and first-team all-conference as a senior. Shamma appeared in two games during his 2023 freshman season, recording one tackle, and retained eligibility. In 2024, he played in two contests, adding one tackle against Duquesne and one against Central Michigan. He did not see game action in 2025. Shamma returns as a junior in 2026.
