Matt Hofer is a right tackle for the Toledo Rockets. The Valparaiso, Indiana native was a three-star prospect who lettered three times in high school and earned Top 50 All-State honors as a senior. He redshirted in 2024, retaining freshman eligibility. In 2025, Hofer appeared in 12 games for Toledo, which ranked No. 1 in the MAC in scoring (30.8 points per game), total offense (415.2 yards per game), and passing offense (238.1 yards per game). He was named Academic All-MAC and became the first Rocket selected as a finalist for the Allstate Good Works/Wuerffel Trophy.
