Zelus Hicks is a 6'2", 190-pound safety for the Texas Longhorns who reclassified from the 2026 recruiting class to join the program in 2025. A four-star prospect from Carrollton High School in Atlanta, Georgia, Hicks made his collegiate debut against Sam Houston on September 20, 2025. During his junior year at Carrollton in 2024, he helped the Trojans post a 14-1 record and go 4-0 in their region. He appeared in one career game during his freshman season and earned a spot on the 2025-26 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.
