MJ Morris is a quarterback from Carrollton, Georgia, who transferred to Texas from Coastal Carolina in spring 2026. Morris previously played at Maryland and NC State. At Coastal Carolina, he appeared in four games, completing 20-of-36 passes for 304 yards with one touchdown while adding 31 rushing yards. During two seasons at NC State, he played in nine games with six starts, including a 265-yard, four-touchdown performance against Marshall. At Maryland, Morris appeared in seven games with one start, completing 36-of-61 passes for 350 yards and five touchdowns while posting one rushing touchdown.
