Dia Bell is a true freshman quarterback for the Texas Longhorns from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who attended Mater Lakes Academy. A five-star recruit rated No. 9 overall in the 2026 class, Bell was named 2025 Elite 11 MVP. As a senior, he completed 43 of 68 passes for 540 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions, adding 98 rushing yards on 23 carries. In his junior season at American Heritage HS, Bell completed 154 of 221 passes for 2,560 yards, 29 touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 556 yards and six touchdowns before a season-ending injury. He was named 2024 Gatorade Player of the Year in Florida.
