McCoy Bruce is a 5'10", 185-pound defensive back from Boerne, Texas, currently in his third year with the Texas Longhorns. He joined the program as a preferred walk-on after playing both wide receiver and defensive back at Boerne High School, where he recorded nine pass breakups and five interceptions as a senior in 2023, while adding 17 receptions for 290 yards and three touchdowns on offense.
