A five-star prospect ranked No. 18 overall in the 2025 recruiting class, Lockett made his collegiate debut versus San Jose State on 9/6, recording two receptions for 22 yards. During his freshman season, he appeared in five games, posting five receptions for 47 yards and one touchdown, which came in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl versus Michigan on 12/31.
